Help provide necessary care to homeless people and their pets.
Homeless people in our communities face major barriers to getting healthcare for themselves and their pets. They must constantly fight a mix of societal factors working against them. Because of this, pets of the homeless can suffer from a lack of adequate veterinary care, despite their owners’ best attempts to provide for them.
Fortunately, Seattle Veterinary Outreach believes all pets and people deserve health and happiness. With their Mobile Medical Unit (a repurposed ambulance), they’re working to care for both ends of the leash. They provide veterinary care, pet food and supplies, and referrals to human services groups that can help people and their pets move off the streets.
You can help Seattle Veterinary Outreach increase their efforts to help homeless people and pets. Your gift will help SVO get out on the streets more days a week, caring for more and more individuals. You’ll even be helping them open a mobile spay and neuter clinic! Now is your chance to help both ends of the leash. Give today!
