93,000 acres of forestry have already been consumed as California battles its largest fire of the year. The York Fire, which began on July 28th, has covered over 100,000 acres combined in Nevada and California. Conditions are so extreme that fire whirls have begun to spin out of the flames, making it dangerous for firefighters to do their jobs. 3 brave firefighters just lost their lives this weekend in a tragic helicopter crash while battling a second fire that popped up in Southern California. 

These wildfires impact communications, gas services, transportation, and water supplies in affected communities, and destroy property and resources. The devastation of homes, businesses, and resources has far-reaching consequences, affecting the economy and well-being of communities for years to come. We need YOUR help to support those impacted in their time of greatest need.
